Hi, I’m Michelle Kabler, and this is the place where I dish out all my healthy cooking goodness. Why should you listen to me? Well, let’s just say I’ve been around the block. The unhealthy block, that is. I put myself through the corporate grind, working overtime, ignoring my body’s signals for greater self-care, and racking up countless chronic health conditions. I felt so sick, bloated, and exhausted on a day to day basis, that I actually thought it was “normal” to feel that way. Until I started cooking for myself. As soon as I learned about nourishing foods and began getting comfortable in my own kitchen, feeding myself with my own two hands, I began to come alive. And I’m on a mission to help you come alive in your own body, beginning in your very own kitchen.

Here’s what I know to be true…

Not mine, not your mom’s, but yours. Your lasting vitality depends on your ability to learn the basics in your kitchen and feed yourself what your body needs to not only survive, but to THRIVE. Juice cleanses, meal delivery, and takeout will only get you so far. There’s that saying your grandparents probably said: “Give a man a fish, you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish, and you feed him for a lifetime.” Your shot at true happiness, wellness, and aliveness begins with you getting comfortable in your kitchen, cooking simple, healthy meals, and feeding yourself. Literally.


The biggest roadblock you may be feeling is your lack of experience or kitchen setup. No formal training? No professional kitchen? Excuses shmexcuses. Learn the shortcuts, start with the easy go-to recipes, and just get cooking.





This is your blueprint. You are busy, you are awesome, you are out in the world rocking at life. Cook once a week and you’re set up for anything life throws your way. Look at it like this: when you consider your lifelong longevity, a few short hours once a week will actually add years to your life, so what may feel like a time investment now is actually buying you time to live the life you love long term. It’s a no brainer.




When we cook, we don’t just add ingredients to a plate. The energy of your food actually changes composition and transforms into a dish because of what you put into it. And it becomes even more spiritual when you put that energy into the dish yourself. You are nourishing your own body, loving her up with the goodness that you want to share with her. Cooking is an act of love and self nurturement. This is critically essential to being healthy.


If there’s one thing I’ve learned in my journey, it’s that life is easier with community. We can’t do everything on our own. And even if we could, life gets super-charged when we collaborate and rely on the support of others. With the help of others, your health will take off to new heights.
